IRA Upcoming Workshops for Program Writers and Reviewers:

  • The Association for Childhood Education International invites current Program Reviewers to attend the Reviewer Training & Updating Session to be held during the ACEI Institute for Global Education Diplomacy, April 17-20, 2013, at Georgetown University and Conference Center, Washington, D.C., USA. During this intensive session, ACEI Program Reviewers will receive updates on our success in the program review process. Results from our work and the PRS data findings will be shared. Dialogue also will address how reviewers can complete their work more efficiently and how NCATE can support reviewers.

  • The Association for Childhood Education International invites university and college personnel to register for the ACEI/NCATE Institutional Orientation Workshop to be held on April 16, 2013, at the Georgetown University Conference Center, Washington, D.C. All colleges and universities seeking national recognition for elementary teacher education programs are required to submit a Program Report demonstrating compliance with the ACEI/NCATE-approved guidelines. This workshop will provide an overview of the process of preparing and submitting a Program Report and give participants an opportunity to ask questions. This is a paid session. Registration fee is $200.00 per attendee.

Onsite training usually takes place just prior to the Annual Convention (November) and/or The CCCC Conference (March or April).
