BOE VisitsBOE Visits
Members of the NCATE Board of Examiners (BOE) perform the most essential component of the NCATE process. All on-site visits to schools of education are conducted by BOE teams of 3–6 persons.

State Protocols
The State partnership protocol
  defines the expectations, roles and responsibilities of the state, institution and of NCATE during joint visits. The state partnership protocol is a document authored jointly by NCATE and the state.
 
NCATE’s State Relations
  NCATE has 50 partnership states, and provides support to these states through strong communication, professional development and training in the NCATE process.
